Ready or not here I come!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post another blog. We have been very busy trying to get all of our projects done around the house before Justin's baptism. Plus I made a really cute montage and for some reason it won't work. Oh well.

Morgan graduated from Pre-school on Thursday ( you'll be pleased to know with honors) ha ha! She is so excited to finally start Kindergarten. I think that she has been ready for years. They gave a little performance and then were given their certificate and a cute little bear. Her teacher told me the other day that during their play time Morgan likes to play the teacher and she does a good job mimicking what they normally do during school. Watch out Mrs. Kindergarten teacher!

**Note to everyone: Did you notice Morgan's hat was put on the right way :) I won't make that mistake again.

It's great to be 8!!

We had a busy day today. First of all, Justin was up at the crack of dawn ready to open his birthday presents. After that Brian and I spend about an hour starting to put together his basketball hoop before having to leave for Justin's soccer game. He had quite the cheering section for his birthday! It was a slow game, but he still managed to score. It was awesome and he loved it. Once we got home we had to finish putting together the hoop which instructions were written in Chinese.
Later that night was his birthday party. We opened presents, played sports games and of course had a football game (even with the big kids, Brian, Josh & Jacquelyn). John and Emma got there just in time for the water balloon fight! Then we had cake and ice cream before the kids went back out to play more games. They all seemed to have a great time.
Thanks to all who helped make Justin's birthday a great day. I know he loved it!!

Our house has, and will be under construction for a couple of days, just so you know that is why I haven't been blogging. I was just able to get to a computer, but it might be

Sneaking up

I love to sneak up on the kids and catch them doing funny things. I usually don't catch them on film, but this time I did. They seem to perform really good until they see that you are watching. Sorry that some of them are the wrong way I thought I could flip them when I edited.

Soccer Star!!

It was a hot day again in Utah. Justin had a soccer game today and scored a record breaking 10 goals!!! Can you believe that??? It was so fun to watch him. The other team didn't have all their players so before half time Justin switched to play with the other team. He did awesome, and it was a great Mother's Day present to be sitting there so proud. (Do you sense my competitive nature?)

Take me out to the ball game!

Did you notice the title. I think it is just in my brain from looking at something too long :) Anyways, Justin had his first baseball game of the season on Thursday. We made a grand appearance only being 25 minutes late (that was the coach's fault) ha ha just kidding. Justin did great, of course, and got 3 good hits. Pretty good for only being there for half of the game. I love to watch the clip of Justin as he watches his hit to make sure it is a fair ball before running. This kids watches too much sports, if that is possible.
It is really fun to see John with the kids, and of course all the parents think it is cool that he is coaching with out a child on the team. We sure like having the coach as his uncle. Can you tell that Kaden is ready to play? He did this for so long, but we had to stand right by him to protect those around him. Every time that he would hit the ball he would get excited and say "I made it"
The clip of Christopher at the end is of Uncle Brian getting his boo boo lip fix. He loves the boo boo lip, and Christopher has gotten use to him trying to scare him so it doesn't happen very often. Isn't it cute :) But then of course he has to make up with him by giving him is binki.

p.s. I will send you a schedule Dad.

Bad Boys

Kaden loves to watch Cops. Anytime the theme song comes on he dances and sings. I tried to sneak up on him and catch him in the act, but I wasn't quite quick enough. You can get the idea.

You Just Can't Will Them All!

I think this title could speak for my two subjects this morning.
#1. The Rockets! I stayed up last night to watch them play and walked away disappointed. Brian asked me if I would be more disappointed to see them loose to the Jazz or to the Warriors. Ha Ha I didn't find that very funny :) It's hard being a Houston fan right now, but their day will come again I just know it.

#2. Justin's game. For all of you who were here last weekend, you were here for prime weather. Justin's game this week was played in the sleet, snow (it didn't stick), wind and cold. I never in my life have wanted a game to be canceled more than I did this one. Not only was the weather bad, but they faced their first defeat. Justin's team was missing a couple good players, and he needed a little more help. Oh well like I said you just can't win them all.

Father's and Son's campout!!

This weekend was the Father's and Son's camp out for our ward. Brian had planned on taking the boys (we even bought a tent if you can believe that), but the weather did not cooperate. It was really cold and raining, not an ideal situation for camping. So instead Brian took the boys to see Spiderman 3 and they had a camp out in the basement with the new tent. The boys loved it!! It also gave Morgan and me a chance to spend some time together too. We went to dinner together and then we rented a movie and had our own "girls night" as Morgan called it. Brian and I said that we should do this more often with the kids. We had a blast!!

Late last night before Justin went to bed he showed me his loose tooth. It was really loose and he wanted me to pull it out. So, I gave it one good yank and out it came.

Chop Chop!

Well well friends and family another montage. Morgan has been asking me for months to cut her hair, and I finally gave in. So while Kaden was getting doped up on candy, Morgan got her hair cut. She was really cute and you could tell she felt like a queen!!! The first thing that she said when it was done, after Lindsey and I said "How Cute", was I told you Mom :) How did I get a sixteen year old in a 5 year old's body???

Car full of balloons and more!!

So I know that I am going to get in trouble if I don't blog right this second!!! We have had a crazy and fun week this last week...Jacquelyn's graduation and party, Emma's graduation(we missed that part) and lunch, Family pictures, Christopher's blessing and Justin's soccer game. It seems kind of boring now :) (I wish)

These are some pictures of the kids in the car. We went Thursday to get stuff for Jake's party and I literally don't think that we could have crammed one more thing into the car.

THE HAT TRICK -- As I mentioned before, Justin had another soccer game this week ;) I thought with a week off for Spring Break and having surgery that he would have a hard time, but he definitely proved me wrong. It took the team a little while to get going and then they just worked them over. Justin had 3 goals, which was good because he had a big fan club there watching him.
