Field trip to the Firestation

Kaden's preschool class had a field trip to the fire station last week. Of course it wasn't just any fire station, it was daddy's, so Kaden was extra excited to be able to show his friends all the cool things you do at the fire station.

They had one of the fireman dress up in all his gear so the kids could see what he looked like and sounded like in case of a fire.
(All the kids in Kaden's class and the morning class)

Game Day Oct. 24th

Justin's last regular season football game was last Saturday, and boy did he step it up. He had 1 touchdown, 1 2pt. conversion and 2 interceptions, not to mention the awesome catch he had over his shoulder. It was such a fun game to watch. I can't believe football has come and gone. On to the playoffs for now, Justin's first since he started paying so he's really excited (okay so are Brian and I). He has a game Saturday vs the #1 seated team, the other Lone Peak.

GOOD LUCK J!

Fall Break

Once again I am playing catch up on the blog so please excuse the long list of posts.

For Fall Break we decided to take the kids for St. George for a long weekend in the warm weather. We had lots of fun going to Zion's National Park (finally for the first time in the 10 years that we have lived in Utah)

Soldier Hollow
This was Justin's first time to attempt to wakeboard, he did really good and was able to get up really fast. After he was done he got back in the boat and asked "Mom are you going to go?" I really didn't want to jump in the "take your breath away" cold water, but I had to show J that his mom wasn't a wimp. :) Notice Morgan's face, this was her attempt to pretend she was sleeping so that we didn't make her try and ski :) Crazy girl! Kaden was brave and got on the tube with Daddy, and all the kids loved climbing the rocks and playing in the sand. I have to say this by far has been one of my favorite spots!

Pumpkin Land

Kaden's preschool class had a field trip Monday to Pumpkin Land. With the kids out of school, and dad at the station, we all went with him. I was glad beause I could actually take pictures of something besides a game :)

Games Oct3rd

Justin didn't have a football games this week so he was able to play with his soccer team. It was fun to see how much these boys have improved since we played with them last and Justin jumped right in with them. I hope he continues to play soccer, it's actually getting pretty fun to watch now :)

Kaden's game this week was a fun one to watch too. He had 3 goals!!! Way to go Kaden. I was a delinquent mother and didn't take any pictures of him this week.
