Maiden Voyage

Tuesday night we took the kids up American Fork canyon for the first time on the Rhino. Kaden has been telling us all week that he didn't want to ride on the "Wino" if you can believe that, and Morgan was super excited. Well that all changed once we got up AF canyon and started to go. Kaden was happy, Morgan was balling, and of course Justin was in heaven... go figure. After the first initial ride Morgan started warming up and by the end of the night, she was cracking up the whole ride down. (I know I have said this before, Jeckle and Hyde) We had such a good and can't wait to take it out again.

First day of school!

Well it's official school has started. Morgan woke up at the crack of dawn yesterday excited for her first day of 1st grade. It was actually pretty cute how I caught her and Justin laying in the bed talking about how their day was going to go, if you have older kids you know how often that doesn't happen without fighting. That line from "NEMO" was going through my head all morning... "wake up Dad, first day of school, first day of school".

After about the 100th time of Morgan asking when we could go to school we got in the car and headed over to the school. On the way Justin leaned over to me and said " Mom, next week Morgan is going to be asking, do we have to go to school":) Anyways, as I parked the car and was walking around to walk with them, my sweet little girl said "Mom your not walking us in are you?" I said " You don't want me too?" "No mom, I can do it myself, Justin can help me if I need help." I guess is a good thing that's she's fine with going in by herself, and good since I was totally preparing myself to not cry as my little girl goes to school all day this year. If you can believe it I didn't cry anyways! Maybe turning 30 is messing with my tear ducts too? :)

Here they are on the 2nd day of school. Morgan and Justin were excited to start riding their bikes with their friends.

Justin's scrimage

Justin had a scrimage Thursday night against one of the best teams in the leauge. In fact they won it all last year. I have to admit, it was fun to be watching a football game again. He did awesome, scoring 2 touchdowns & making some great tackles!

Playing with Gus

I know I have a lot of catching up to do! Hopefully with school starting this week I can be better at blogging! We watched Christopher the other day and I caught the boys in action. Kaden's ego grew 10 times with Christopher here, he loved making him laugh and of course loved that he was the one doing it. I can't help but laugh myself watching it.

11 years and counting

Yesterday Brian and I celebrated our 11th year anniversary!!! Brian, like always, is sooooo romantic and took me away to Park City for a couple of days. We had the best time ever!!! Don't get me wrong, I love our kids but anytime away is heavenly and refreshing! I feel like I can be a good mom again :) While we were in Park City, we watched movies, vegged out, road the the ski lift, shopped and had a couples massage. It was great in fact I had so much fun I didn't even take one picture! It's funny how the more time passes by the more I love him. Here's to 11+ years to come.

Provo River

We finally got around to floating down the Provo river Saturday afternoon. The kids had lots of fun and it was a perfect day to be outside.

Kaden and Aliyah checking out the fishing pond.

Kaden's soccer

Kaden had a soccer game on Saturday. He got a chance to be the goalie, and as you can see he was very helpful. I think one day he will appreciate these pictures :) His team was doing so good that there really was no need for a goalie. Can you tell he was entertaining himself. At one time Brian did have to come and untangle him from the net.

Swim lessons part 2

Here are some more pictures of the kids at swimming lessons. They had fun, but it's amazing how tempremental kids can be in the morning when you want them to do something. If you can beleive it, it wasn't Morgan :)

Are you ready for some....

FOOTBALL!!! It's officially started and I have been meaning all week to get a picture of Justin at practice. He's wearing his #25 Reggie Bush jersey it's black, so right now it's easy to see him. I just love to see them in their gear, they are so cute! (I won't tell Justin that) They are intense he has practice everyday except Sunday. It's a good thing he likes it so much. I will post a schedule when I get it, so far I know his first game is August 23rd.
