Kaden brought these skates in to Brian yesterday and told him that he wanted to skate. We told him that they looked to big for him, but he did NOT agree! Those are my rollerblades by the way!
Brian was asked my Morgan's teacher if he would come in and talk to the kids about fire safety. Of course he said yes, and Morgan was so excited. Every day she would ask if today was the day that Dad was coming to school. When Brian pulled up to the school Friday, all the Kindergartner's were outside at recess. They all swarmed to the fence and started singing this song that they learned, hence the name "I wanna ride on a fire truck". It was so cute and of course you know that brought a tear to my eyes, but I did suck it up.
When Morgan's teacher was introducing Brian, she asked Morgan to stand up and tell everyone what her Dad did. She got really quiet and told her teacher she didn't want to. Later we asked her why she didn't want to tell everyone what her dad did, and she said it was because there was tears in her eyes. Again I had to suck it up.
Brian and Justin brought home this mask for Kaden, and so did Marc for Kael. Ever since then Kaden and Kael have been dying to play together with these masks and we finally got together today. You can imagine what happened when they got together :) ... well just see for yourself! It's pretty funny.
Brian and Justin left Thursday night for San Diego! They did lots of fun things. Here's how it all went down .....

We had dinner at the Hodson's on Sunday and then of course HOT COOKIES! You can see how good they were :)
I actually found something else that I was addicted to besides blogging. I don't read very much at all, but April told me I should read this book! I have only been reading it for a couple of days and I am more than half way through! I think that I have an addiction problem :) If you haven't already read this, it's a fun and easy read!

What I was doing 10 years ago...
Wow! Living the newlywed dream. We were living in California and had just moved into our first apartment. Brian and I were both working full time and living it up. We might have even been thinking about having Justin.
What I was doing 5 years ago...
Just enjoying being a mom. Morgan was a baby and Justin was 3. We were about to start building our house in Springville.
What I was doing 1 year ago...
I was probably painting the walls in my house and just doing the same things that I am doing now. I know my life is so exciting.
What I was doing yesterday...
Laundry, watching Conference! We went to dinner at the Hodson's and I was reading my new book, Twilight -- yes I have been suckered in!

What I would do with 100 million dollars...
Were do I begin?? Go on vacation with my kids, and then with Brian - maybe even a couple of times! Go on a shopping spree :), Buy my dream house (with a swimming pool), buy a couple more houses around the world to visit. Hire a maid & a cook - who wants to clean a big house?? I also think it would be fun to give it away to people who could really use it, you know like Oprah.

Justin's last football game for the season was yesterday. He did really good. He had a couple of carries and a punt. They lost the game in over time, but the boys seemed to have a fun time. So did we until the weather decided to take a turn for the worst...again. I am so proud of you J!
I got together Thursday with a couple of my roommates from Ricks, Amberlynn and Heather. We just hung out together talked about old times, and got caught up on what each of us was doing. We all agreed that we hadn't changed much, and our kids definitely had some qualities of us as well. It was so fun to see you guys. We need to do that more often. Plus I like just letting my day go by without having to be responsible :) Love you girls!!!
Justin had his last soccer game Wednesday night. It was a really good game. They played the #1 ranked team in thier leauge. It was a very close game, but in the end we pulled it out 4 to 3. I hope that some of the pictures come out, we were facing the sun the entire game. Justin also was able to be one of the captains again.
Morgan had a field trip today and I was able to go with her class. We went to Hee Haw's in Pleasant Grove. It was really fun to be able to go with her. Thanks Bri for staying home with Kaden.
I guess I need to find something else to do with my time :)
